Final Invitations

So I'm finally done all the invitations.. I had to change my ideas a bit along the way as i only had the one day in winnipeg to buy all the paper and get them printed and everything. But i think they turned out alright in the end.. just a few minor things i would change if i could go back (as always!)

What it is: The envelopes are off-white, cotton paper. There is an enclosure which the invitation is attached to on the inside. It is actually watercolour paper, but it was the soft textured, somewhat weighted, off-white paper I was looking for. It is a handmade paper, and on many of the invitations, such as this one, you can lightly see the embossed mark of the crafter (especially if you put it up against a light). They all have a rough edge on one side, which is where it is folded over, and then sealed with a purple wax seal. I was able to design the seal as well, I just sent them an outline format illustrator file, and they made it in BC and sent it to Kenora all in a day! It is a C&P with an orchid (or some flower). I ended up printing the invitation itself on vellum, then backed it against a bamboo-coloured linen paper. I thought this gave it a really natural feel-being destination, but still formal and classy. The vellum and linen paper are only attached by purple raffia at the top, so the vellum flows freely when it's opened. The linen is stuck onto the enclosure. The RSVP card is printed on the same paper as the enclosures.

And the website is updated (www.pamandcurtis.com)

The pictures aren't uploading right now so I'll give it a try in a new post.
